RU50L-S18-AN8X-H1141 Description
Turck RU50L-S18-AN8X-H1141 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU50L series designed with a 20° sonic cone in retro-reflective mode for front sensing. This sensor features TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) housing and a sensing face made of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. It is rated with an IP67 degree of protection, indicating its robustness against dust and water ingress. The RU50L-S18-AN8X-H1141 has a partially threaded barrel shape with an M18 thread size, and it offers a digital output (20-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). Its sensing distance ranges from 50-500mm, with a no-load current consumption of 50mA. The sensor's maximum switching frequency is 9.6Hz, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. It operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode and boasts a measurement accuracy (resolution) of 0.2mm.
