This part of the Type RM-116 series features a solid shaft with a flat, capable of 65,536 turns (scalable), and utilizes a magnetic sensing mechanism for absolute multi-turn encoding. It is constructed with a die-cast Zinc housing, a Stainless steel shaft, an Aluminium flanging, and is connected via a PVC cable. It comes pre-equipped with a radial 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy integration. The encoder measures H70mm x W60mm x D80mm, with a 39mm casing diameter and a 10mm shaft diameter (D10mm) extending 20mm in length (L20mm). It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc, and can be mounted using a 58mm clamping flange. Designed to function in a wide range of ambient air temperatures from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The encoder supports communication via the DeviceNet protocol and is rated for a maximum voltage of 250Vac in AC applications.
