RI-65SA1R-2F5000-H1181 Description
Turck RI-65SA1R-2F5000-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" square flange mounting with a solid shaft and optical sensing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. This encoder falls under the Type RI-65 series and has dimensions of H80mm x W60mm x D70mm, with a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter (D3/8"), and a 7/8" shaft length (L7/8"). It offers a degree of protection of IP67 and requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc-30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. The encoder can handle a maximum frequency of 300kHz (equivalent to 3600rpm), and is constructed from rugged stainless steel housing, with stainless steel 1.4305 (303) for the shaft, flange, and connector, and features a fluoropolymer elastomer seal. It includes 1 digital output (push-pull with inverting signal; 5Vdc-30Vdc), offers protection against short-circuits and magnetic fields, and can operate at a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm (mechanical limit). The moment of inertia is 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, with a resolution of 5000ppr (pulses/revolution), a current consumption of 50mA (no load), a maximum radial load of 80 N, and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
