RI-43HA6S8-4B4096-H1181 Description
Turck RI-43HA6S8-4B4096-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +80°C and features a large-bore through hollow shaft flange with long tether arm optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and falls under the Type RI-43 series. It has dimensions of H140mm x W135mm x D174mm with a 100mm casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The supply voltage requirement ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz (equivalent to 4395rpm). Constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, and an aluminium flange, it utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol. The encoder features a 1" hollow shaft bore and provides 1 x digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). It includes protection against short-circuit, can operate up to a mechanical limit of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia less than 220x10^-6kg.m^2, and offers a resolution of 4096ppr (pulses/revolution) with a current consumption of 40mA (no load).
