RI-12I15S1-2K1024-H1181 Description
Turck RI-12I15S1-2K1024-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and belongs to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring, it has a 15mm hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides 1 x digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and features protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It can achieve a maximum rotational speed of 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2 and a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
