RI-12I12T-2B1024-CT5M Turck Encoders

Turck RI-12I12T-2B1024-CT5M is an incremental rotary encoder designed for precise motion control applications. It features a compact design with a through hollow shaft flange and torque stop for mounting, ensuring stability and accuracy in operation. This encoder operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired radial 2m cord with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The RI-12 series encoder has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc, and supports a frequency of up to 300kHz. Constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring, it features a 12mm hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides a single digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc), incorporates protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It can handle a maximum rotational speed of 12000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2, and offers a resolution of 1024 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and an axial load of 40 N.
