RI-12I12S1-2B1024-H1181 Description
Turck RI-12I12S1-2B1024-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, falling under the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. It supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. The bore size is a 12mm hollow shaft, and it includes 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution). Current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
