RI-12HA4S1-2K2048-H1181/N33 Description
Turck RI-12HA4S1-2K2048-H1181/N33 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing and a special waveform. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and belongs to the Type RI-12 series. It has a 2" casing diameter and offers IP67 protection. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc, with a 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring, it features a 5/8" hollow shaft bore. The encoder provides one digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It can achieve a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10-6kg.m2 and a resolution of 2048ppr. The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
