RI-12H15E-2B1024-H1181 Description
Turck RI-12H15E-2B1024-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for compact applications, featuring a 63mm flex mount (slotted) flange mounting and a through hollow shaft flange with slotted flex mount optical sensing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. This encoder falls under the Type RI-12 series and has a 2" casing diameter. It offers IP67 protection and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.), with a 300kHz pulse frequency. The encoder is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It features a 15mm hollow shaft bore and provides 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The encoder supports a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2, and offers a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA (no load), with a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
