RI-12H10S1-2K360-H1181 Description
Turck RI-12H10S1-2K360-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a long tether arm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a through hollow shaft flange design with optical sensing. This encoder is equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. As part of the Type RI-12 series, it has a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The supply voltage requirement ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. It can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The encoder's construction includes a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It features a 10mm hollow shaft bore and provides one digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity safeguards. The encoder supports a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 6 x 10^-6kg.m^2 and a resolution of 360ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
