RI-10TA1S0-4B2000-10MIL/N26 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-10TA1S0-4B2000-10MIL/N26 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" motor flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft motor flange with optical sensing and a special waveform design. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector for connectivity. As part of the Type RI-10 series, it has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter, and a 7/8" shaft length. It offers an IP65 degree of protection and supports a supply voltage range of 5Vdc to 30Vdc, accommodating 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems. The encoder can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 9000rpm, and is constructed from durable materials such as die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol and includes one digital output that is RS422 pulse output and TTL compatible, supporting 5Vdc to 30Vdc. Protection features include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity protections. The encoder's mechanical limit for rotational speed is 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and it offers a resolution of 2000 pulses per revolution. Its current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
