RI-10TA1R-4B360-10MIL Description
Turck RI-10TA1R-4B360-10MIL is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" square flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft square flange optical sensing design. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector, falling under the Type RI-10 series. It has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter (D3/8"), and a 7/8" shaft length (L7/8"). The encoder is protected to IP65 standards and requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc-30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. It can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The material composition includes a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol and has 1 x digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The encoder supports a maximum rotational speed of 12000rpm, a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 360ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
