RI-10T10C-2B2500-CA5M Description
Turck RI-10T10C-2B2500-CA5M is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 58mm clamping flange mounting and a solid shaft clamping flange optical sensing design. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is pre-wired with an axial 5m / 16ft cord with bare end flying leads for connection. This encoder falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. It offers IP65 protection and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. The encoder can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 300kHz, equivalent to 7200rpm, and is constructed from die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, butyl rubber shaft seal, stainless steel disc table, and stainless steel packing ring. It features 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 12000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and a resolution of 2500ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
