RI-10SA1Z4-2B1024-H1181 Description
Turck RI-10SA1Z4-2B1024-H1181 is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 2" square flange mounting and a solid shaft square flange optical sensing design. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is pre-equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. This encoder falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter (D3/8"), and a 5/8" shaft length (L5/8"). It offers an IP67 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. The encoder supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It features 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and a resolution of 1024ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
