RI-10SA1R-4B1000-H1181/N33 Turck Encoders

Turck RI-10SA1R-4B1000-H1181/N33 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for compact applications, featuring a 2.5" square flange mounting for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and incorporates a solid shaft square flange with optical sensing to generate a special waveform. This encoder is equipped with a radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for straightforward connectivity. It belongs to the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter, and a 7/8" shaft length. With an IP67 degree of protection, it is built to withstand harsh environments. The supply voltage ranges from 5Vdc to 30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc systems, and it can handle a pulse frequency up to 300kHz. The encoder is constructed from die-cast metal housing, with a stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring, ensuring durability. It uses the RS-422 communication protocol and offers one digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Protection features include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity safeguards. It can achieve a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 1000 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 40mA under no load conditions, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
