Turck RI-10SA1R-2K1800-7MIL/N29 is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 2.5" square flange mounting and a solid shaft square flange optical sensing design with a special waveform. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is pre-equipped with a radial 7-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector for connectivity. This encoder falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 3/8" shaft diameter (D3/8"), and a 7/8" shaft length (L7/8"). It offers an IP67 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc-30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. The encoder has a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed from die-cast metal housing with stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It features 1 x digital output (push-pull; 7272 compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. The maximum rotational speed is 6000rpm, with a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10^-6kg.m^2, and a resolution of 1800ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
