RI-10S10C-4B2500-H1481 Description
Turck RI-10S10C-4B2500-H1481 is a compact incremental rotary encoder featuring a 58mm clamping flange mounting and a solid shaft clamping flange optical sensing design. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is pre-equipped with an axial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. This encoder falls under the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. It offers IP67 protection and requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc-30Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. The encoder operates at a frequency of up to 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed from die-cast metal housing with stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It utilizes the RS-422 communication protocol and has one digital output (RS422 pulse output; TTL compatible; 5Vdc-30Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. The encoder supports a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10^-6kg.m^2, and offers a resolution of 2500ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
