RI-10S10C-4A2500-H1481 Description
Turck RI-10S10C-4A2500-H1481 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 58mm clamping flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft clamping flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with an axial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector and falls under the Type RI-10 series. It has dimensions of a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. The encoder is protected to IP67 standards and requires a 5Vdc supply voltage. It supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed from die-cast metal housing, with a stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. Communication is facilitated via an RS-422 protocol, and it includes 1 x digital output (RS422 output with inverting signal; 5Vdc). Protection functions include short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic field proof, and reverse polarity. It can handle a rotational speed of up to 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 2500ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
