RI-10S10C-2B2500-12M23 Description
Turck RI-10S10C-2B2500-12M23 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 58mm clamping flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 12-pin M23 Multifast male connector for connectivity. It belongs to the Type RI-10 series and has dimensions including a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. The encoder is protected to IP67 standards and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc. It supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. The encoder features 1 x digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. It can handle a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, has a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, and offers a resolution of 2500 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
