RI-01T4F1-2A100-C Description
Turck RI-01T4F1-2A100-C is an incremental rotary encoder designed for miniature applications, featuring a 24mm flange mounting for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +85°C and utilizes a solid shaft magnetic sensing mechanism for precise rotation detection. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 2m / 6.5ft cord with bare end flying leads for easy connection. As part of the Type RI-01 series, it has a 24mm casing diameter, a 4mm shaft diameter, and a 10mm shaft length. It offers IP50 protection and requires a supply voltage of 8Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc. The encoder supports a 160kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with an aluminium housing and a stainless steel shaft. It features one digital output (push-pull with inverting signal; 8Vdc-30Vdc), and includes protection functions against short-circuit, magnetic field interference, and reverse polarity. Capable of reaching a maximum rotational speed of 12000rpm, it has a moment of inertia of 0.1 x 10-6kg.m2 and offers a resolution of 100ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 10 N and a maximum axial load of 20 N.
