Turck NIMFE-EM12/4.9L88-UP6X-H1141/S1182 is a magnetic field sensor/switch designed for the detection of ferromagnetic parts. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a 4.9mm probe diameter. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. It belongs to the NIMFE-EM12 series and offers a degree of protection of IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a partially threaded barrel shape with an M12 thread size and is 88mm in length. The housing is made from 1.4301 (304) stainless steel, and the sensing probe is coated with Titanium Nitride (TIN) for enhanced durability. It supports both Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) operating modes, which are programmable. The sensor provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, with a current consumption of 15mA under no-load conditions.
