Turck NI4U-EG08-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It belongs to the NI...-EG08 series and features an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape for easy installation. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket, ensuring durability in various environments. It offers a sensing distance of 4mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor has an M8 thread size and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) capable of a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. It is designed to operate with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
