NI30-K40SR-VP4X2 Description
Turck NI30-K40SR-VP4X2 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a pre-equipped wiring chamber with terminal block and M16x1.5 entry for connections. This sensor is part of the NI...-K40 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It supports a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor's shape is a 40mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel with a terminal chamber, and it has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz. Constructed with an ABS housing and sensing face, it provides a sensing distance of 30mm. The operating mode includes normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) complementary outputs, with one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms, and the control circuit rated current is 200mA with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
