Turck NI25U-CP40-AP6X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block with a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. This sensor is part of the NI...-CP40 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is housed in a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber. The sensor can switch at frequencies up to 250Hz and is constructed from PBT-GF30-V0 for the housing and PA6-GF30-X for the sensing face, both materials being glass fiber reinforced for added durability. It has a sensing distance of 25mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
