Turck NI15U-MT18M-AP6X2-H1141/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise, non-contact detection of metallic objects. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features a medium barrel length with Weldguard coating for enhanced durability. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. As part of the NI...-MT18 series, it boasts an IP68 degree of protection, making it suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a PTFE-coated brass housing. It has an M18 partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of 15mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) capable of handling a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and the control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A.
