NI15-M30-VP4X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI15-M30-VP4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-M30 series and features a partially threaded M30 barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance is required. The supply voltage ranges from 10 to 65Vdc, accommodating 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc nominal voltages. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and a sensing distance of 15mm. It provides both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) complementary outputs. The housing is made of chrome-plated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, while the cable jacket is PVC. It features a digital output capable of handling 10-65Vdc at a maximum of 200mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The response time is 8ms, and the control circuit rated current is 200mA with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
