NI14-M18-AP6X/S97 Description
Turck NI14-M18-AP6X/S97 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It falls under the NI...-M18 series and features a chrome-plated brass housing in an M18 partially threaded barrel shape, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can handle a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. It offers a sensing distance of 14mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for installation is M18. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) and is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity conditions.
