Turck NI14-G18-Y1X is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. This ATEX-compliant sensor is part of the NI...-G18 series and features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It offers a degree of protection of IP67 and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. The sensor has an M18 fully threaded barrel shape, with a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensing distance is 14mm, and the thread size is M18. It includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR).
