Turck NI12U-M18-ADZ30X2 4M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 4m / 13ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor supports a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, and 250Vdc), making it versatile for AC and DC applications. It belongs to the NI...-M18 series and features an M18 partially threaded barrel shape for easy installation. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 10Hz and is constructed from a chrome-plated brass housing, a PBT sensing face, an EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It offers a sensing distance of 12mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it includes 1 x digital output capable of handling 20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc with an AC/DC 2-wire pow. MOSFET output supporting up to 400mA. For protection, it includes output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP) and is rated with a degree of protection of IP68.
