NI12U-EM18-AP6X2-H1141/S395 Description
Turck NI12U-EM18-AP6X2-H1141/S395 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. Part of the NI...-EM18 series, it features an IP68 degree of protection, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture are present. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a 61.5mm long, M18 partially threaded cylindrical/barrel shape made from 1.4301 (304) stainless steel with a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face. It offers a sensing distance of 12mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and a current consumption of 25mA at no-load condition.
