Turck LTX500M-ER10-LI0X3-H1151 is an encoder (linear) from the EZ-track series, designed as a magnetostrictive linear position sensor. It features a raised-face design with power consumption varying with interrogation times and recirculations, and a 2" null zone. The dimensions are H46mm x W46mm x D696mm, with a cylindrical/rod shape. The housing and rod are made of stainless steel AISI 304 1.4301, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy connection. The encoder offers protection against reverse polarity and can withstand pressures of 340bar / 5000psi permanently and 680bar / 10000psi short-term. It operates on a supply voltage of 7-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.) and has a 10.3mm rod diameter. Designed for operation in ambient air temperatures of -40...+85 °C, it boasts an IP68 degree of protection. The stroke length includes a 2" null zone, 2.5" dead zone, and a 500mm measurement span. It features 1 x analog output (4-20mA; 16-bit), with a current consumption of 40mA and a response time of 2ms / 0.002 s. Measurement accuracy is detailed at 16-bits resolution (= 0.008mm / 8μm linear resolution), 0.008mm / 8μm linear repeatability, and 0.001" / 0.0254mm hysteresis < 0.01% of span or +/-0.005 whichever is greater. A tri-color (diagnostic LEDs) visual position indicator is included, and it is suitable for storage in ambient air temperatures of -40...+105 °C.
