Turck LTX4550M-F10-LI0-X3-H1151 is a magnetostrictive linear position sensor from the EZ-track series, designed with a flat-face and a cylindrical/rod shape. It features an aluminium housing and a stainless steel AISI 316L rod, measuring H46mm x W46mm x D4746mm with a 10.3mm rod diameter. This encoder operates within a supply voltage range of 7-30Vdc, with a nominal 12Vdc-24Vdc, and consumes 40mA of current. It offers a 4550mm measurement span with a 2" null zone and a 2.5" dead zone, providing a 16-bit resolution which equates to a 0.07mm linear resolution and repeatability, and a 0.001" hysteresis. The device is equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, supports a pressure range up to 340bar permanently and 680bar short-term, and operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C, with storage temperatures ranging from -40 to +105°C. It features a single analog output (4-20mA; 16-bit), has a response time of 6ms, and includes reverse polarity protection. The encoder is IP68 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water, and includes a tri-color visual position indicator for diagnostics.
