LTX32E-R10-LI0X3-H1151 Turck Linear Position Sensors

Turck LTX32E-R10-LI0X3-H1151 is an encoder (linear) from the EZ-track series, designed as a magnetostrictive linear position sensor with a raised-face power consumption that increases with interrogation times and recirculations. It features a 2" null zone and dimensions of H46mm x W46mm x D1009mm, with a cylindrical/rod shape. The housing and rod are made of aluminium, and it is pre-equipped with a 5-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It offers protection against reverse polarity and can withstand pressures of 340bar / 5000psi (permanent) and 680bar / 10000psi (short-term). The supply voltage ranges from 7-30Vdc, with 12Vdc-24Vdc being nominal. The rod diameter is 10.3mm, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures of -40...+85°C. It is IP68 rated for protection and has a stroke length that includes a 2" null zone, a 2.5" dead zone, and a 32" measurement span. The encoder provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA; 16-bit), with a current consumption of 40mA and a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s. Its measurement accuracy is detailed with a 16-bits resolution (= 0.013mm / 13μm linear resolution), 0.013mm / 13μm linear repeatability, and 0.001" / 0.0254mm hysteresis < 0.01% of span or +/-0.005 whichever is greater (for this device = 0.005"). Additionally, it features a tri-color visual position indicator (diagnostic LEDs) and can be stored in ambient air temperatures of -40...+105°C.
