Turck LTX160M-R10-SSI-3-BSF1-X3-H1161 is a magnetostrictive linear position sensor from the EZ-track series, designed with a forward direction raised-face. It features a cylindrical/rod shape with dimensions of H46mm x W46mm x D356mm and is constructed from an aluminium housing and rod. This encoder is pre-equipped with a 6-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity and utilizes the SSI communication protocol. It offers protection against reverse polarity and can operate under pressures of 340bar / 5000psi permanently and 680bar / 10000psi for short terms. The supply voltage requirement is 7-30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc-24Vdc, and it has a rod diameter of 10.3mm. The encoder operates efficiently in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. It features a stroke length with a 2" null zone, a 2.5" dead zone, and a 160mm measurement span. The current consumption is 40mA, and it includes 1 x digital output (SSI output; 24-bit binary code; synchronous data type) with a response time of 4000 measurements per second.
