Turck LT40E-R16-3LI0-EX-B1140 is a sensor designed for the instrumentation and intrinsically-safe monitoring of liquid levels. This part of the EZ-track series features a cylindrical rod shape with a 40" measurement span. It is constructed from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel for both the housing and the probe rod, ensuring durability and compatibility with a wide range of liquid media. The sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin 7/8"-16 UNS Minifast male connector for easy installation. It operates under a pressure of up to 70bar (1015psi) and requires a supply voltage of 13.5-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Designed to work within a medium temperature range of -20 to +70°C and an ambient air temperature range of the same, it suits various environmental conditions. The sensor has a diameter of 16mm (5/8") for the rod, offers an IP68 degree of protection against ingress, and features an analog output (4-20mA; loop powered) for straightforward integration into existing systems. Its response time is quick at 40ms (0.04 s), facilitating timely liquid level readings.
