Turck LT16E-R16-3LI0-EX-S is a sensor designed for the instrumentation of intrinsically-safe liquid level detection and transmission. It belongs to the EZ-track series and features a cylindrical rod shape. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing and a probe rod of the same material, ensuring durability. It has a 16" measurement span and is pre-equipped with a 3/4"-14 NPT threaded connection for installation. The sensor operates under a pressure of 70bar (1015psi) and requires a supply voltage of 13.5-30Vdc, with 24Vdc being nominal. It is designed to function within a medium temperature range of -20 to +70°C and has a rod diameter of 16mm (5/8"). The ambient air temperature for operation mirrors the medium temperature range, also set at -20°C to +70°C. This sensor is IP68 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against ingress. It features 1 x analog output (4-20mA; loop powered) and boasts a quick response time of 40ms (0.04 s).
