FDNL-XSG16-T Description
Turck FDNL-XSG16-T is a digital block remote I/O module designed for DeviceNet systems, featuring a surface mounting mode. It has a net width of 60 mm, a depth of 40.3 mm, and a height of 197 mm, with a housing made of fiberglass reinforced nylon and connectors of nickel-plated brass, ensuring durability. This remote I/O controller operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It supports communication speeds of 125kbps, 250kbps, and 500kbps, and is equipped with 16 digital inputs (PNP), which can also be configured as 16 digital outputs (DO) with a maximum of 500mA each. The FDNL-XSG16-T includes short-circuit protection and utilizes 8 x 5-pin M12 female connectors for I.O. ports, along with 2 x 5-pin 7/8" male and female connectors for FIELDBUS. It requires a supply voltage of 11-26Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal) and is part of the FDN series, designed specifically for DeviceNet applications with an 8-port connection capacity.
