BID2-G180-RP6/S212 Description
Turck BID2-G180-RP6/S212 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for high-pressure applications without an LED indicator. This sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable with bare end flying leads. Its shape is an M18 fully threaded barrel, offering an IP67 degree of protection. The sensor can withstand pressures up to 500bar statically and 350bar dynamically, with a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. It is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +85°C. The sensor includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
