Turck BI8U-M18M-VP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M18 series, designed with a medium barrel length that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. Its shape is an M18 partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP68. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz / 1500Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. It offers 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensing distance is 8mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
