BI4-M12E-VN6X Description
Turck BI4-M12E-VN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in chrome-plated brass. This sensor features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Its shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 2kHz / 2000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a sensing distance of 4mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, with a thread size of M12. Operating modes include NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
