BI4-M12-LIU Description
Turck BI4-M12-LIU is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series. This sensor features an embeddable special version design without an LED indicator and operates with a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 200Hz, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x analog output (4-20mA / 0-10Vdc; linear), a cable length of 2m, a no-load current consumption of 8mA, a sensing distance of 4mm, and an M12 thread size.
