BI4-M12-AP6X-H1141/S1751 Description
Turck BI4-M12-AP6X-H1141/S1751 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M12 series, designed for embedding with FM Approval for Class I Div 2 environments. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity, and its shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel. It offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz, a response time of 8ms, and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 4mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and the sensor operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
