Turck BI20U-QV40-AP6X2-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-QV40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is housed in a PBT-GF30-V0 material, which is glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, and features a sensing face made of PA6-GF30-X, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor's body is a 40mm thick rectangle, ensuring a compact form factor. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The maximum switching frequency is 250Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. This model provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 20mm. For protection, it includes functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
