BI20R-Q14-AP6X2 Description
Turck BI20R-Q14-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q14 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and it has a 14mm thick rectangular body with a 20mm ring. It offers IP67 degree of protection and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 8Hz, a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, and a sensing distance of 20mm. It includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor provides protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. It operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode and can detect objects ranging in size from 4-20mm.
