BI20-CP40-VP4X2/S10 Description
Turck BI20-CP40-VP4X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-CP40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0), ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The rectangular body measures 40mm in height and width, conforming to the Combiprox shape with a terminal chamber. It offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress, with a maximum switching frequency of 150Hz. The sensor can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and has a response time of 8ms. It includes one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 20mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
