Turck BI20-CA40130-VP4X2-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-CA40 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features an aluminium housing with a Duroplast sensing face and is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. Its shape is a short rectangular body, measuring H40mm x W130mm, known as Stubby. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various environments. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 250Hz. The response time is 8ms, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 400mA max.) with a sensing distance of 20mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. It supports a control circuit rated current of 400mA / 0.4 A and offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
