Turck BI20-CA40-ADZ30X2-B3131/S34/S1590 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-CA40 series, featuring a Weldguard coated, embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac nominal) and 10-300Vdc (including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc nominal). The sensor is housed in aluminium with a PA6-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and is connected via a pre-equipped 3-pin 1/2"-20 UNF Microfast male connector. Its shape is a short rectangular body (Stubby), measuring H40mm x W40mm, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 20Hz, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. This sensor features 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 400mA max.), with a sensing distance of 20mm. It includes protection functions such as output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP) and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
