BI12-G30-AM6/37X/S97 Description
Turck BI12-G30-AM6/37X/S97 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G30 series, designed as an embeddable special version without an LED indicator. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF30), an Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber (EPTR) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 fully threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. The sensor includes one digital output (35Vac / 50Vdc; Solid State Relay; 6A), a sensing distance of 12mm, and features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit's rated current is 6000mA (6A), with a thread size of M30 and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
