BI1.5-HS865-AP6X Description
Turck BI1.5-HS865-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch that belongs to the BI...-HS865 series. This embeddable design sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 3kHz / 3000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 1.5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit rated current is 150mA / 0.15 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
