Turck BI1.5-EG08K-AN6X-0.3-RS4T is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed with a short barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 30cm / 12" pigtail PUR cable terminated with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 1.5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
